Non-profit networking is like job hunt networking, only with a budget of $0. It can only tell you what you would receive if you make the contribution (and are hired). When you're without a job, the product you are selling is you. This can be difficult to grasp.
I would like to share with you four things that those of you are looking for work will just have do. There are four things that you just can't get around. "I think I will look for a job next week. No, I think I will do it the week after." I have spent about 70 hours a week in my job search. That's what I'm doing for a living.
Networking is a very effective way for candidates to find the best jobs that goes for face-to-face and online networking. Of course networking doesn't work if a job seeker under utilizes networking opportunities.

The Business Talent Connection held on January 26th was another success. We had 5 (two of which were from the same firm) recruiters attend this event. These 5 recruiters were new to CMN as compared to those that attended the December event.
